New identity design for defence technology brand Seven Technologies with sub product brands
The Client:
Seven Technologies Group (7TG) is a UK Defence Manufacturer specialising in the provision of Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition & Reconnaissance (ISTAR) systems. With 40 years industry experience and a combined legacy of 180 years real-world operation experience, Seven Technologies Group prides itself in offering customers the right solution for the right environment.
The Challenge
7TG were experiencing consistent and wide-spread growth within the field of defence and brought Montpellier onboard to help facilitate evolving into new non military markets such as law enforcement.
We were handed the reigns on revitalising 7TG’s corporate identity, giving us the opportunity and were briefed to design a completely new look and feel as well as tine of voice, including website, interiors, exhibition materials and literature whilst creating a positive social media and press profile, to support future growth.
The Solution
Our initial task was designing a new website that could facilitate thousands of patients. Utilising highly functional multi-search options, we were able to drastically improve website usability for GP patients, creating an approachable, easy-to-navigate design. Harnessing TPG’s commitment to helping all patients irrespective of gender, age, or race, we designed and implemented a series of characters spanning various genders and ethnicities to symbolise their commitment to discrimination-free treatment. Within two months of the relaunch, 88% of TPG’s total traffic was coming from new users.
Paramount to designing 7TG’s website, was updating the branding to reflect its modern and pragmatic ethos. Opting for a new blue green colour palette and with tinted colour combinations, we provided a radically different visual palette, updating 7TG’s brand to match its drive for change and innovation.
Alongside redesigning 7TG’s logo, we creating the strap-line ‘Powering the world of actionable intelligence’ and ‘Actionable intelligence delivered by the virtual operator’. We also looked at the family of products which were being developed under the iSENSE brand and brought a consistent rationale and structure to the suite of products so that they sat comfortably as part of the portfolio.
The Results
- A new, user-friendly website that saw 88% of its traffic come from new users, within 2 months
- A Successful rebranding – including a new logo and online content campaigns
- A new product launch video for the iSENSE range
